Large Bat Box

This natural and attractive Bat Box will fit into any garden, woodland or house wall site. It is made from high quality durable timber/oak providing longevity, excellent insulation and the narrow entrance slot offers protection from predators. Bats need Habitat as many roosts have been lost over recent years and you can encourage and help them with this double chamber Bat Box.

Siting
Position 2.5-5m high on a building or on mature trees. Bats may change direction of roost in different weather conditions and season. Ideally for the summer bats need some warmth, so the box needs to catch some sun during the day. Good directions are south east, south west or north (cool). Preferably site on a vegetation line (trees, hedges) or a feeding/flight route. Fixing Fix with a masonary nail into brick or screw into wood through the fixing hole at the back.
